Torah Study with Joy Ladin

We are excited to announce that Dr Joy Ladin will be returning to the Transfaith Institute for a 4-session seminar on Wednesdays at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific beginning July 31, 2019!

The LIVE sessions will also be recorded and added to the Ruzuku course room for participant review.

We are collecting $50 per participant with a portion of those registrations going to Dr Ladin. We want to model the idea that transgender time and expertise should be compensated.

The seminar will follow Dr Ladin’s recent book, with a final session for wrap up and to cover anything we miss along the way:

• July 31 - Introduction and Chapter 1

• August 7 - Chapters 2 and 3

• August 14 - Chapter 4 and 5

• August 21 - Closing discussion and overflow

The course includes access to a 20% discount when purchasing the book from the publisher, as well as a new discussion guide for the book. You’ll be able to ask any questions you might have while we dig into both the Hebrew text and Ladin's book.

No background in the Hebrew language is necessary for this seminar. Dr Ladin's book is very accessible and the course is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Jewish background that informs all three Abrahamic traditions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam).
